Hi there, I’m Elliot. I’ve been a Ruby/Rails developer for 5+ years, and presently I live in Boulder, CO.
I’m really interested in the “open web”, work that’s going into HTML5 to make browsers do more. I like to learn new languages — Lua and Clojure catch my fancy at the moment. I’m an INFP, with emphasis on the F. I’m a craftsman, not a hacker. Writing software can be an art. I want to build better tools. I like testing my code, if that’s okay with you. I probably give in too easily. I probably put too much of myself into my work. I just want to be accepted. I have a stubborn streak. Some day I’d like to make an electronic music album. Some day I’d like to start a webcomic. Some day I’d like to start an indie band and tour the country. Origin stories fascinate me, biographies too. What does it all mean? We are tiny specks of sand in a vast universe. Some day you and I will have self-driving cars.
